I-Thermic test in alpine skiing with the German blogger and ski instructor Marius Quast
As the leaves begin fall from the trees and the temperatures start to drop, winter sports fans look forward to the first exciting weeks of the season. Content creator and ski instructor, Marius Quast, already had the opportunity to wear the I-Thermic midlayer last winter and it kept him warm all throughout his adventures.
Marius is an alpine ski instructor, blogger and content creator from Sauerland, Germany. As a true outdoor enthusiast and adventurer, Marius spends most of his time skiing in the mountains. There is no peak too high, no valley too low and no temperature too cold to keep this active sportsman from his exciting endeavors.
Marius loves freedom and independence – which is why, in addition to his job as managing director of two companies, he heads outdoors whenever possible. The cold doesn't bother him because as a ski instructor, he is constantly on the move, unless he is taking a short break or explaining something to his ski students. It is especially important to him to keep his body warm. During his ski tours or while alpine skiing, he likes to wear actively heated clothing when he is going to be outside for long periods of time. Our I-Thermic midlayer immediately won him over and he was especially impressed by the heat regulation feature controllable via mobile phone app. "Clothing that can be individually controlled and adapt to the external conditions are simply awesome," says Marius.
I-Thermic combines clim8®'s intelligent thermal technology with MAS and ODLO's knitting expertise, offering the most advanced intelligent heat delivery technology on the market and allowing users to fully control their personal microclimate without the need for additional clothing.
Since then, the intelligent garment has been a welcomed addition to Marius’ wardrobe."The midlayer has been part of my basic equipment on cold days since last winter," he adds euphorically. "Anyone who spends as much time in the cold mountains as I do, is incredibly grateful for this kind of clothing," he continues. With this in mind, we wish Marius a lot of fun with his further adventures this winter!
Can't wait to get back on your skis, snowboards or cross-country skis? Equip yourself with the I-Thermic midlayer now and enjoy the ultimate mountain experience. This winter, the I-Thermic is also available as a base layer.
