    I bought these shorts as I needed to replace an old pair of a different make. I am a leisure cyclist, not a racer, and needed shorts I could wear all day while touring. I did quite a lot of research and these had good reviews on cycling sites. They are an excellent fit - I am 12/14 UK size and bought Medium. They are very comfortable and were not as expensive as some others with a similar level of recommendation. The bottom of the legs has a tighter band which prevents them riding up and although the edge leaves a mark for a short time after wearing them all day (sometimes for 5 hours or more), they were not uncomfortable. The waist band sits high, has soft elastic and does not roll down making it very comfortable to wear on both the long bike rides and during stopovers for picnics and sightseeing. And they did the job - providing good padding in the right places! I would definitely recommend them.
