Sustainability has always been part of our brand’s DNA. As a company committed to preserving the environment, we are aware that the textile industry consumes large amount of water in its varied processing operations and we are committed to minimize our footprint. For our outdoor range, we use the Drydye® dyeing process, which drastically reduces the water consumption of the dyeing process.
For the fifth consecutive year, ODLO has been awarded Leader status from the Fair Wear Foundation. This rating is given to selected clothing manufacturers for their efforts to continuously improve working conditions in their supply chains.
Born in Norway and engineered in Switzerland, we are a quality-conscious company that takes its social and environmental responsibility seriously. As a former competitive athlete in cross-country skiing, I know what diligence and consistency are. Without regular training, passion and the necessary portion of heart and soul, an athlete does not get far. But away from sport. Thanks to regularity, we can develop fun in any activity in everyday life, because regularity brings consistency, practice and finally progress.
Every year, April 22nd is marked by an essential event: Earth Day. Created in 1970, this world event is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The objective of Earth Day is to promote responsible actions and initiatives taken around the globe and to mobilize all individuals around concrete actions for the preservation of our host planet. On this occasion, and because sustainability and environmental respect have always been in the DNA of our brand, we would like to share some of our responsible initiatives with you and introduce you to Julia, our sustainability manager.

4 teams - 3,332 km - 480 kg of CO2 saved. The 15th Bike to Work Challenge was completed at the end of June 2019. It proved to be a record year, with more companies and participants involved in the campaign than ever before. It goes without saying that ODLO International AG once again backed it to the hilt.
