ODLO releases new MTB pieces made with recycled materials

ODLO’s new X-Alp mountain bike collection is specifically designed to meet the needs of riding way off road. Crafted for casual mountain bikers and made from more than 80 per cent recycled materials, these comfortable, technical, and stylish pieces are purpose-built to enhance the mountain ride experience. 

Cooling comfort from recycled yarns

The X-Alp Linencool MTB t-shirt is a cool, moisture wicking tee made from 82 per cent recycled content. Bringing ODLO’s Linencool technology to cycling for the first time, the natural cooling of linen is combined with the enhanced performance of synthetics to deliver a lightweight, breathable, multi-season staple. Reflective detailing provides added visibility, while the handy integrated lens wipe keeps glasses dirt free. Finished with ZeroScent - a bio-based anti-microbial treatment that limits odours, this tee will hold up to day-long sessions in the dirt. Cut in a regular fit with a slightly longer back for extra coverage on the saddle and available in short and long sleeve styles for both men and women. 

Exploration-ready shorts

The X-Alp explorer MTB overshorts are made from 90 per cent recycled materials and built to withstand punishment on the trails. Crafted from a lightweight, hard-wearing double weave fabric and finished with a water-resistant coating, these shorts boast two zippered pockets, two hand pockets, four way stretch and an adjustable waistband to deliver on functionality and comfort. Cut in a loose, straight fit, and made without a chamois pad, they’re intended to be worn over bibs or liner tight shorts. These durable, MTB-specific overshorts are made for exploring. Available for men and women in two colours.
