Trail run weekend unites real athletes, real runners and real racing in one of Europe’s truest trail arenas.
(May 12th, Hünenberg, CH) – ODLO, the Swiss-based performance apparel brand today announced it will once again equip the Swiss-Ski Nordic teams in a new four-year partnership agreement beginning at the start of the 2023/2024 season.
Covering cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, biathlon and ski jumping, the new agreement sees ODLO equip over seventy Swiss-Ski athletes and their coaching and support teams with its high-performance winter apparel - base layers, on-snow competition apparel and training wear.
While the Swiss-Ski teams will represent the brand at all Nordic events, the collaboration will also see the athletes input on product development and participate in a new athlete apprenticeship programme at ODLO headquarters in Hünenberg, Switzerland.
Fuelling success
“With ODLO as a partner, we give athletes and staff the pieces they need to generate results," says Silvan Nideröst, Head of Equipment at Swiss-Ski and Managing Director of the Swiss Ski Pool. “In ODLO, we’re very happy to have a strong and established partner. Both sides will benefit from this revived partnership in the long term.”
Having previously equipped Swiss-Ski for over a decade, ODLO is thrilled to once again partner with Swiss-Ski’s inspirational Nordic teams and discover new opportunities to grow together.
“Collaborating with teams and athletes that share our passions inspires us to craft the best possible sports apparel out there,” said Daniel Eppler, CEO of ODLO. “ODLO has held Nordic sports close to its heart for over 75 years. We’re therefore delighted to be working with Swiss-Ski’s Nordic teams once again and look forward to equipping them for success with our high-performance apparel.”
With ODLO also recently announcing the signing of legendary athlete Martin Fourcade and the title sponsorship of Team ODLO X-Alp, this new agreement with Swiss-Ski evidences their ongoing commitment to invest in targeted brand collaborations rooted in visibility and product development.
The current agreement runs through to 2027.

Odlo, the Swiss-based performance apparel brand, has long been respected within the outdoor industry. Founded in 1946 in Norway by Odd Roar Lofterød Sr, the brand first made its mark by developing an elastic, heat-regulating suit that revolutionised cross-country skiing. Odlo then became the apparel brand of choice for twenty-five national teams at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics – including the entire Norwegian national team – who went on to win a raft of medals. Further groundbreaking innovations followed with the introduction of the first fully synthetic sweat-wicking base layer, the launch of the pioneering three-layer principle, and expansion into performance apparel for outdoor pursuits beyond Nordic sports.
