Odlo is ‘Out for More’ at the 2024 High Trail Vanoise

Trail run weekend unites real athletes, real runners and real racing in one of Europe’s truest trail arenas.

(Tuesday 4th June, Hünenberg, CH) – Odlo, the Swiss-based performance apparel brand is thrilled to title sponsor the Odlo High Trail Vanoise, a grassroots trail running event held on some of the most beautiful terrain in the French Alps, for the 9th consecutive year.

Hosted in Val d’Isere from July 5th-7th, the Odlo High Trail Vanoise (HTV) promises more miles, more metres and more experiences as over 1,500 athletes and trail fans come together for a weekend of racing in the stunning landscapes of Vanoise National Park.

Celebrated as the premier trail event of the summer, the weekend features six race distances, from the vertical kilometer to the 72km High Trail Vanoise, after which the event is named. Junior athletes can participate in a dedicated youth race, while relay formats are available for the longer courses. The 9km Odyssea race, supporting the fight against breast cancer, is offered in both running and walking formats.

"The High Trail Vanoise is surrounded by exceptional landscapes above 1800m elevation and offers an amazing weekend for any trail runner,” said Ingrid Jacquemod, Director of the Val d’Isere sports club. “Odlo’s support is vital for us to be able to deliver this event successfully. We’re thrilled to partner with a brand dedicated to inspiring more athletes to enjoy incredible outdoor experiences such as ours.”

With endurance mountain sports in Odlo’s DNA alongside its passion to heighten every outdoor experience, the brand is proud to partner with this renowned event and equip event organisers and dedicated volunteers with its made-for-comfort performance apparel.

Out for More

As proud title sponsor of international trail running Team Odlo X-Alpi, the HTV serves as the perfect setting for Odlo to bring these like-minded partners together.

‘Out for More’ at the 2024 HTV unites real athletes, real runners and real racing by connecting Team Odlo X-Alpi athletes with select runners from across Europe to elevate their HTV experience. In the run up to the event the team athletes will share their perspectives on apparel, training and more, as they prepare for the start line in Val D’Isere. On the weekend itself, as well as racing in their chosen distances, the team will host a community run and masterclass, sharing their stories and inspiring others to go ‘Out for More’.

The team’s HTV experience will also be captured in their new six-part webisode series that explores what it takes to run trails at the highest level. From the tricky balance of training and careers to the highs and lows of life on the race circuit and the colliding personalities of six very different runners, the series is a raw look at athletes who are inspired to go for more – whatever that means to them. Episode one has just been released on Odlo’s YouTube channel, further webisodes will drop monthly.
