A three-quarter length zipper adds functionality while the lightweight weave makes the pant stashable enough for waist belts and backpacks, brought with for some insurance should conditions shift. The fit is to small and the trousers make noise. It is more a summer pants. It has no warmth. Because it is to small the wind comes in from the bottum. :( poor product.
