Swiss performance apparel brand Odlo is launching its second product collaboration with Protect Our Winters (POW) Switzerland, an NGO that raises awareness about the climate crisis. The result is the Odlo x POW Zeroweight running capsule: a six-piece collection made entirely from recycled materials.
This new product collaboration follows the launch of the Odlo x POW Blackcomb base layers on Global Sustainability Day 2023 (26 October) and is in line with the company’s voluntary, self-regulatory commitment to achieving the sustainability targets Odlo has set for itself as part of its “We can do more” initiative.
Odlo works with POW and other leading sustainability partners to achieve the targets it has laid out for itself. These include setting and communicating a specific goal for the reduction of greenhouse gases emitted by its production process in 2024. Odlo and POW have been partners since 2021, with Odlo supporting POW’s impactful climate campaigns. Both Odlo and POW are excited to strengthen their relationship and launch this jointly branded collection in the hopes of using their collective influence to raise awareness of the climate crisis.
The Odlo x POW Zeroweight capsule collection is made from 100% recycled materials and was developed in cooperation with POW to minimise harmful effects on the environment. This is also reflected in the eye-catching design, which was inspired by water. The print is aimed at raising awareness of the growing problem of water scarcity and the hazards associated with climate change. The Zeroweight apparel line is built to offer reliable performance in warm and often unpredictable spring and summer conditions. Combining comfort, style, breathability and lightweight protection from the elements, it’s ideal for road, trail and urban running, as well as high-intensity workouts.
