This unexpected alliance headlines Odlo’s ‘Nordic like never before’ experience at the world’s second largest cross-country skiing event

Now in its 55th edition, the world’s second largest cross-country skiing event draws over 13,500 cross-country skiers from over 60 nations each March to the breathtaking Engadin high valley – a week culminating in the renowned 42km ‘Engadiner.’
With 75 years of Nordic heritage, Odlo is honoured to once again sponsor this pinnacle moment in the cross-country ski calendar, outfitting the organising committee and over 1000 dedicated volunteers with its high-performance apparel. Legends unite
Odlo is thrilled to host two of its global brand ambassadors in an unexpected alliance on the ice. For the first time, biathlon legends, Swiss Olympic silver medallist Selina Gasparin and French six-time Olympic champion Martin Fourcade, will race together in the iconic 42-kilometre marathon distance. Having retired from competition within a few years of each other, Gasparin and Fourcade now train simply for the joy of the sport. With neither athlete having much experience nor training at this race distance, the dual endeavour promises authentic moments of camaraderie and determination.
Community warm-up event
Odlo is also offering race participants the chance to join a community warm-up event coached by Fourcade, Gasparin and athletes from the Swiss-Ski cross-country team. Taking place one day before the race start, coaches will lead groups in a short warm-up session on the cross-country skiing track and help participants make final tune-ups prior to the race. All levels welcome but spaces are limited.
