Cubic is back - and better than ever.
A heritage fabric, reengineered for today.
Lighter. More breathable.
Quick Guide:
The Cubic Collection is built around a single structural insight: when fabric lifts away from the skin, everything else improves. Each piece in the range uses a three-dimensional cube-knit or waffle-knit construction that physically reduces contact between the textile and the body, therewith creating natural channels for airflow, improving stretch recovery, and accelerating moisture removal without relying on chemical treatments. Backed by over 80 years of Odlo's inside-out approach to performance engineering, the SS26 Cubic generation comes lighter and more breathable than before, spanning three distinct variants that cover everything from high-intensity training to rest-day casual wear.
Cubic Light is purpose-built for mid-to-high intensity days: made from recycled polyester in an airy open-knit structure, it wicks and dries fast, encourages airflow in warm conditions, and carries bio-based HeiQ Mint anti-odour treatment so it stays fresh from workout through coffee stop — making it the right choice for hiking, trail running, and warm-weather training.
Cubic is a more versatile everyday piece, the standard Cubic crewneck uses that same unique cube-knit structure with four-way stretch and a raglan sleeve cut for unrestricted movement, finished with HeiQ Mint for lasting freshness through training sessions and travel days alike.
Cubic Merino answers that directly: a seamless waffle-knit built from a non-mulesed merino and polyamide blend, it delivers the natural thermoregulation, quick-drying properties, and odour resistance that wool is known for — in a slightly oversized, cropped silhouette that moves from trail to town without a second thought.
The construction does the work that finishes typically can't sustain over time. The cube-knit geometry in Cubic and Cubic Light reduces fabric-to-skin contact area at the structural level, meaning breathability and stretch are inherent properties of the weave itself — not coatings that degrade after repeated washing. Cubic Merino takes a different route: the merino-polyamide seamless construction integrates odour resistance, thermoregulation, and softness from the fibre up, while the waffle-knit texture adds the visual dimension of a lifestyle piece without adding weight. In Odlo's layering system, Cubic and Cubic Light sit as the ideal base or mid layer for active output; Cubic Merino functions equally well as a standalone piece or a warmth-retaining first layer beneath a lightweight shell.
Match the variant to the intensity, not just the temperature. Reach for Cubic Light when output is high and warmth is not the goal — its recycled polyester construction dries faster than merino and handles sustained aerobic effort without clinging. Use Cubic Merino on lower-intensity days or variable-temperature outings where natural thermoregulation does the heavy lifting between effort and rest. And when layering any Cubic piece under a shell, the reduced fabric contact area means you get the airflow benefit of the knit structure even when covered — a detail that matters on long mountain days when conditions change and you can't always stop to adjust.
